If you can reach it safely, turn off the power at the main switch on your fuse board. If there is a fire, leave the building and call 999.
Water near your electrics
Do not touch wet switches or sockets. Turn the power off at the main switch only if you can reach it without standing in water.
Electric shock
Stop using whatever caused it. If anyone is hurt, call 999 first.
Power gone
Check whether your neighbours have power. If the whole street is off, call 105, the free power cut number. If it is just your property, call us.
